Guy Woolf actor composer director becoming electra

Guy is an actor, director and composer based in London and represented by Kitty Laing at United Agents.

His acting credits include: 3 GUYS NAKED FROM THE WAIST DOWN (Finborough Theatre), THRILL ME (The English Theatre of Hamburg and Jermyn Street Theatre) and Romeo in ROMEO AND JULIET (Bridewell Theatre), TRIGONOMETRY (BBC2, Dir. Athina Rachel Tsangari).

He plays Electra in the London based Cabaret troupe DENIM (Soho Theatre, Arts Theatre, Glastonbury with Florence Welch sponsored by Mac Cosmetics).

He is touring his one-person drag show BECOMING ELECTRA: A QUEER MITZVAH, written by Isla van Tricht, across the UK at the end of 2019.

Guy is Creative Director and Co-Founder of new theatre company represent. dedicated to redressing the socioeconomic imbalance in the industry. Their annual repertory season will launch in February 2020.

He has directed and devised productions at The Roundhouse, Tristan Bates Theatre and three sell-out productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

He is a drama facilitator, delivering workshops at the Roundhouse, National Youth Theatre and various schools across the UK.

Guy has written the music for SIXTH FORM ROMEO, a musical by Nigel Williams (Elizabeth I with Helen Mirren, The Wimbledon Trilogy novels) and GREAT AGAIN (Tristan Bates and VAULT Festival, winner MIRO magazine pick of the festival) with Isla van Tricht.

Currently Guy and Isla are writing a new musical called "The CORRECT account of activist, writer and genius Valerie Solanas, who famously wrote the SCUM manifesto, and also shot Andy Warhol, as told by herself and her friends."

He is also developing a docudrama with his brother John Woolf, based on his brother's book THE WONDERS.
